Every May 4th, aka Star Wars Day, my son plans an array of Star Wars themed activities. We have been known to make Star Wars shaped pancakes or cookies with our Star Wars pancake molds and cookie cutters. We have had our share of Star Wars themed snacks like Wookie Cookies and Yoda Soda. And we certainly have watched more Star Wars movies together than I could begin to count.
This year we were contacted by Hasbro with the chance to review Angry Birds Star Wars AT- AT Attack Battle Game and Angry Birds Star Wars Foam Flyers. My son absolutely flipped when he found out and was over the moon that they arrived in time for us to play and celebrate one of his favorite days of the year.
Hasbro's Angry Birds Star Wars AT-AT Attack Battle game is suggested for ages 5 and up and retails for $39.99. It comes complete with 12 of the most adorable Angry Birds Star Wars mini figures - two which are exclusive to the game and all of which the kids absolutely love to play with even when not playing the game. In addition, the game includes 8 AT-AT pieces, 12 building blocks, a super cool lightsaber launcher and a set of instructions. Kids can also unlock Angry Birds Star Wars in-app content with a special code in each pack. Yay!! That means even more fun for the kids!
Check out what my son Aidan has to say about Angry Birds Star Wars AT-AT Attack Battle Game:
I love that this game is fun for our whole family and combines two of our favorites - Star Wars AND Angry Birds. My kids are both crazy about the game and I love that they can play with it fairly independently with minimal help. This would make an awesome gift for any Angry Birds and/or Star Wars fan!
In Addition to the Angry Birds Star Wars AT-AT Attack Battle Game, Hasbro also sent out this fun Angry Birds Star Wars Foam Flyers Stormtrooper Pig.
Approximately 3.5 inches in height, these soft Foam Flyers can be tossed, rolled and bounced around. My kids had fun tossing them to one another as well as setting up lightweight pillows and throwing it at them to knock them over. Other Foam Flyers include Luke Skywalker Bird, Darth Vader Pig and Chewbacca Bird. They are recommended for ages 3 and up and would be tons of fun to play with using your imagination to create obstacles to know down out of blocks, empty cereal boxes and more. Kids can get creative as they play!
