He has worked as an accountant in the banking and health care industries as well as for a CPA Firm in the Tri State area. Because of his extensive knowledge and professionalism, he realizes that filing taxes can be a very stressful situation for many. Steven and Barbara will strive to help make filing taxes a more positive experience for all of their clients.

Prior to opening their Smart Tax office, Steven and his wife, Barbara, felt that our area could use a family run office that would be steadfast in assisting our neighbors with their tax needs in a more personal way than the larger franchises do. Steven franchised with Smart Tax Preparation Services, realizing that he could bring his clients a personalized, professional and efficient means of filing their Personal and Business Income Taxes, while offering more competitive rates than larger tax chains.

At their Smart Tax office, they encourage electronic filing so that clients can have access to their refund quicker and/or file their returns less stressful.
